These Re-Ment are little art pieces on their own:

1. Pikachu & Darumaka (Red Fuji)

  • Inspired by: Mount Fuji in ukiyo-e, particularly Katsushika Hokusai’s Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji. Referencing the famous "South Wind, Clear Sky" (凱風快晴, Gaifū Kaisei), often called “Red Fuji.”

  • The red maple trees and golden background evoke autumn fusuma (sliding door) or byōbu (folding screen) paintings.

2. Vaporeon (Water Lilies)

  • Inspired by: A blend of Monet-style water lilies and Japanese kacho-ga (bird-and-flower) themes, but rendered with wabi-sabi minimalism.

  • The circular water ripple design and calm composition resemble Japanese garden ponds seen in Kyoto temple art.

3. Hisuian Growlithe (Bamboo Forest)

  • Inspired by: Traditional sumi-e ink paintings and fusuma art featuring bamboo groves, symbolizing summer or tranquility.

  • The misty white clouds are a classic Nanga (literati painting) element.

4. Gyarados (Ocean Waves)

  • Inspired by: Katsushika Hokusai’s famous piece The Great Wave off Kanagawa.

  • The massive wave, clawing foam, and dark blue gradient all unmistakably evoke this most iconic ukiyo-e print. Even Gyarados's position mimics the wave’s curvature.

5. Rowlet (Autumn Moon & Maple Leaves)

  • Inspired by: Tsukimi (moon viewing) aesthetics and autumn kacho-e.

  • The round full moon behind clouds is very Meiji-era seasonal art and commonly used in poetry scrolls.

6. Froslass (Snow Scene with Blossoms)

  • Inspired by: Yukimi shoji (snow-viewing screens) and plum blossoms in snow imagery.

  • This is a classic late-winter/early-spring motif, symbolizing quiet endurance and ephemeral beauty — often found in Japanese New Year’s prints.
