Otaku House will reopen its Suntec City outlet on Nov 21, 2025, marking the brand’s third return to the mall in 17 years.

Singapore, 21 Oct 2025 - Otaku House, Singapore’s iconic destination for anime collectibles and pop-culture merchandise, is proud to announce the grand reopening of its refreshed Suntec City outlet on 21 Oct 2025.

Otaku House first opened at Suntec City more than a decade ago, becoming a familiar go-to spot for anime fans visiting the mall. The store closed during Suntec City’s major renovation works and subsequently returned after the mall revamp. After another temporary closure for the mall’s new link-bridge upgrade, Otaku House is back once again; now in a freshly redesigned space created for today’s generation of anime lovers.

A Brief Look at Otaku House’s History

2008 – First Era:
Otaku House first opened at Suntec City in 2008, long before the mall’s large-scale redevelopment. The outlet quickly became a fan-favourite and was frequently featured in multiple media coverage, helping cement Otaku House as one of the pioneers in Singapore’s anime retail scene.

2012–2015 – The $410 Million Suntec City Redevelopment:
Suntec City underwent a major three-year, $410 million renovation, reshaping the mall into the modern lifestyle hub it is today.

Post-Renovation – Second Era:
After the redevelopment, Otaku House reopened its outlet at Suntec City, welcoming a new generation of customers while continuing to serve long-time fans who remembered its first home.

2025 – Third Era: The Link Bridge Rebirth:
With Suntec City’s newly completed link bridge to Guoco Midtown, Otaku House now reopens once more—this time with a refreshed layout, improved accessibility, and an expanded product offering just in time for the year-end shopping season.

“Suntec City has always been one of our most memorable locations. Many fans grew up visiting us here, and we are excited to welcome both old and new customers back to our refreshed store,” said the Otaku House team.

What’s New at Otaku House Suntec City
